INSURANCE: In spite of what your insurance back home or your credit card company uses as marketing statements , in Mexico you are not insured unless you bring a letter from your insurance company recognizing its partnership with a local insurance company , otherwise in order to be completely covered you would have to buy insurance with a Mexican company. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ARE INSURED WHILE DRIVING IN MEXICO

INCLUDED IN RATE : Unlimited milage, mechanical rescue, CDW insurance , taxes, hotel pick up.

Insurance: Colision Damage Waiver covers material damages , theft, or complete loss of own vehicule. MINUS the deductible .

Aditional insurance for 20 usd. per day , will void the deductibles ONLY. Nothing else. You are still responsable for partial loss.

IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ARE WELL INFORMED ( ahead of your rental ) IN WRITTING not verbaly , about what is covered and what is NOT COVERED . Contact insurance companies, read contracts in the internet . BE SURE that when you sign the contract EVERYTHING IS WELL specified in the contract clauses. READ carefully AND BE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND the legal gargon in them.
